Quality Assurance Intern (Brazil)

Eliis are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst Intern to join the Product team and support testing and validation of seismic interpretation and geological modeling workflows in PaleoScan™, our flagship subsurface software solution.

About the Role

As we expand our presence in the Americas, we seek a Quality Assurance Analyst intern to support the technical testing and validation of PaleoScan™. This role requires being able to understand, analyze, test and document typical seismic interpretation and geological modelling workflows.

The intern will be part of the Product Team, with members both in Brazil and France, making it an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment.

Location: Brazil

Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of extension)

All candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and approximately 6 to 12 months away from graduation.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance intern, you will work alongside experienced QA analysts to support the development and improvement of PaleoScan™ tools. This role is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving and want hands-on experience in a professional software development environment.

  • Execute tests to identify bugs and ensure seismic software stability
  • Accurately document issues to guide the Development Team
  • Maintain up-to-date QA documentation
  • Actively engage with international teams to communicate and follow-up issues

What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Geology or Geophysics
  • Experience with any seismic software and/or experience with other geology-related software’s (Modeling, GIS, etc)
  • Able to communicate well and daily in English, both written and spoken
  • Familiar with computer science concepts in general
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn

Nice to Have

  • Agile workflows knowledge
  • Basic coding skills
